Protein Pancake
If you’re like us, you have a passion for food, so when dining out — there are really no limits. If you stress over calories at every single meal, you might miss out on trying some incredible wagyu beef tartare, or a cochintia pibil torta from the Taco Bus. That would be a crying shame, and we don’t want you to miss out on all that’s good in this world.
That said, for some meals you’ve got to strike a balance and eat something lower in fat and higher in nutrition value. This will set you free to be the gluttonous animal you truly are later on that day. Here’s your answer: a high-protein, low-carb, non-fat pancake you can have for breakfast or even an afternoon snack.
In the mix:
—1 scoop vanilla isolated whey protein
—1/2 banana
—1 egg whiteBlend it all up (I use an immersion blender), cook it in a pan with non-stick spray, flipping it once. Top with whatever you like: fresh fruit, sliced almonds, a tbsp. of peanut butter…
It’s all about the balance, friends. So try this for breakfast and then relish that extra heap of curry chicken for lunch.
